Construction Site Fire Safety Course
A two tier course based around 'The Joint Code of Practice on the Protection from Fire of Construction Sites and Buildings Undergoing Renovation Sixth Edition 2006'.
Prerequisites: none
Course Objectives:
To reduce on-site fires by incorporating simple fire prevention measures at design and planning stages and the maintenance of high standards of fire safety at all stages of building construction/renovation. No previous experience is required and full course notes for both parts are provided.
Part 1 : Construction Site Fire Marshals
For site personnel nominated to assist construction site managers / foremen in basic site fire safety.
Programme of course:
- Principles of combustion
- Personal safety
- Site fire prevention
- Fire risk assessment
- Evacuation procedures
- Practical use of fire extinguishers using 'live fire' simulator
Duration: approx 1.5 hours.

2 courses - £300
We recommend that delegates take this course every 12 months.
