Prerequisites: none
Course Objectives:

• To ensure all employees are familiar with the principles of fire safety within residential care premises
• To ensure all employees are familiar with evacuation procedures
• Safe operation of fire extinguishers

Programme of course:

• Principles of combustion
• Personnel and residents safety
• Basic fire prevention
• Use of extinguishers
• Fire routines

Duration: approx 2 hours.

We recommend that delegates take a one day referesher course every 12 months after taking the Residential Care Fire Safety Course.
